Off-Page Optimization
As we all know there are two sections which SEO methods fall into on-page and off page optimization. In this post I am going to try and cover things you want to think about when it comes to off-page optimization.
This is really all about getting inbound links to your website and links that use the same words you want to do well in the search engines for.
So lets say you want to do well for One Eyed Frog you are going to want sites to link to yours with the linking text "One Eyed Frog" and variatons of this so "Frog with One Eye", "Article about a Frog" ect ect just make sure you have words in the linking text that will help with the search term your trying to do better in.
As for how to get these inbound links there are many different ways and here is some of them:
Directories
Article Directories
Link Exchanging
Buying Links
Press Releases
Social Bookmarking Sites
Blogging Sites
That covers the main ones I think, I know I have probley missed something but hey.
