Wordpress has some really great templates available for a much more 'corporate' look and feel. Better looking than a personal blog they provide a really professional news look.

A couple of examples worth looking at are:

There are quite a few variations of the theme available on his site (FWIW he also makes some very good free templates)

and also
WP-Magazine Theme
http://www.wp-magazine.com/

Both themes cost about $80 (£40) which is definately a cheap and effective way to give your business blog a professional makeover. Multiple licences are also available for both.
