Why is it that it's OK for black people to tell racist jokes? I just don't get it and frankly it pisses me right off
I was watching a BBC1 comedy program just now called Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, 'Saturday night entertainment' I suppose it could be called and there was a female black comedian saying that Madonna had paid £1.5M for a black child and she was pleased because she has two black kids at home with good "street value" as she put it. A niggerette is a patch for black men to ween themselves off white women and someone referred to her as a shecoon in an email (or something or other, I'd kinda stopped listening by this time).... so WHY is this OK? How can everyone else be expected not to be racist when this shit is put in front of us on Saturday night TV?
It's also pretty apparent in lots of movies I've seen lately, there was me thinking that nigger is supposed to be a bad word to use when it seems like it's OK for anyone apart from a white person to use it. I can't remember telling (or even feeling comfortable telling) a joke about a black person for a loooooooong time..... is it because I am white???
Maybe I could come up with a whole load of white person jokes.. walk on the stage and say "Don't adjust your TV...yes, I am white" and then reel off a string of jokes using whatever euphemisms for white people I can think of

Just watching the predominantly white audience laughing made my skin crawl (no pun intended). Yeh, laugh by all means.. just don't EVER say it.
Feel free to discuss your thoughts here... I'm not going to moderate this thread because it's sanctioned by the BBC after that offensive racist CRAP that I just watched.
Added: For what it's worth I just found a miniscule snippet of the show on Youtube
