SIFE is proud to introduce “Employability Week”, a 3-day-student-run event, running from 31st of March till 2nd of April 2009: an internal event creating external links, thus creating “3 days of possibilities”. Students will be able to get advice straight from the horse’s mouth and will get the chance to network, to gain internships, to develop employability skills and access CV clinics. All with the help of some keynote speakers from relevant industries. An opportunity to link the best students with the best employers. The university encourages and supports students on their journey from higher education to professional working life.
The Metworking Fair is on the 2nd of April and gives you as a company the chance to meet prospective students. It is not about offering them a job or internship right away, but about networking with the students and let them now you are on the market. Students are very keen on knowing how to make themselves more employable, especially in the current economic situation. This fair will be trying to fill the gap between higher education and professional world. It is free of charge.
