Have you ever though about a hybrid vehicle as a company car before? No? Well you should they can hold many benefits over conventional petrol engined cars and there is also many diesel engine hybrids due for release in the UK very soon.

Start saving your company money and look at more economical company cars. This dont mean they have to be boring as you will find though furth reading.

Thats not entirely true really it depends just what car you want, as long as the car has low emissions then it can actually work out quite well. If you are running a Volkswagen Golf TDi or any reasonable size diesel or a hybrid then your emissions are going to fall into the lowest tax category.

Which is part of my point with this thread, even for personal cars you really do need to take into consideration the CO2 output of the vehicle now if you don’t want to have to pay a fortune in road tax and fuel costs, Just with this being a business forum thought it would be best to aim the thread at company cars.

If you want a big V8 petrol or something then no defiantly don’t go down the company car road though as you will just get nailed in terms of tax, infact as I already mentioned unless it is a reasonable size diesel engine or hybrid car you going to get nailed tax wise.
